What is IPVS?

IPVS stands for IP Video Surveillance.  IP stands for Internet Protocol (see Keyword below for more explanation).  Video Survellance refers to remote monitoring of physical areas by security cameras.  IP Video Surveillance is a scheme of arrangement of cameras, connections, displaying and recording equipment.  The term has been loosely used in the industry.
