The Compucon Black Pearl brings a new form factor to PCs as of October 2010. "Very small size" is its design target and "open platform" is a condition of its design. It is so small that it can be piggybacked onto any LCD with standard VESA mounts. Pearl has no space for a HDD but uses an IC based 4GB Disk on Module (DOM) for storage. We have tested many Windows applications and they have all worked well. The system model has been tested for its thermal management and is proven to be stable. It is suitable as a commercial or industrial Thin PC.

Plenty of storage space can be added via 2 USB ports on the front, 4 on the back and access to Network Attached Storages via a standard network connection.
