Yes. In the root of your C:\ there should be a Compucon folder with a number of useful applications, manuals and tools.
PCWizard is a nifty tool that can display a lot of information about the PC and can be run directly without having to be installed.
You will find this in:
C:\Compucon\Applications\CPUID PC Wizard 2007.1.73\PC Wizard.exe

If your Compucon computer has an MSI motherboard it is a normal behaviour for the BIOS to sound a single beep per USB device connected to your PC.
For example, if you have a USB flash drive and a USB printer connected to your PC, you should in theory get 2 short beeps during the BIOS POST screen.

This depends on the type of BIOS installed on your motherboard. Have a look at the label on the BIOS chip or the BIOS POST screen. The corresponding PDF files below will explain the POST Codes.
For AMI specific BIOS codes:
AMIBIOS-codes.pdf
For Award specific BIOS codes:
Pheonix-Award-Medellion-postcode.pdf
For Phoenix specific BIOS codes:

Many people see PC as a tool but Compucon sees PC as an evolutionary development as well as a tool. The wider scope of vision implies that laymen as well as specialists should develop a better appreciation of PC technologies similar to the way we learn how to read and write. We do not just learn reading and writing as skills isolated from other skills, and we study grammar, language usages, literature etc. In a way, Compucon is promoting computeracy (computing literacy) as the 3rd essential base knowledge after literacy and numeracy. It is very evident that those with a higher and wider level of computer skills can get hired faster than others, get promoted sooner, and are able to expand their business in a more profitable way than others. The former US money purser Greenspan and the late management guru Peter Drucker have stated that US gained its productivity solely from more efficient and effective information since the 2nd World War. At present, the majority of IT innovations come from the US. US companies are growing faster than the poor cousins in the newly developing global village. NZ has an official Digital Strategy. How effective is it is subject to debate. At this point, why don’t we start the first lesson? We shall learn what a PC is by referring it to a framework that we already know- our own body. Attached (to be attached) is an article from the August issue of Interface Magazine for your easy reading. Enjoy.
