Kamo High School is very proud to hold a strong association with Compucon, some of the older workhorses around the school consist of five year old Compucon computers that still have their integrity seals/warranty stickers in place and unbroken! A true test of Compucon reliability, quality and excellence.
This year saw a new suite of 30 Compucon Jasper workstations upgrading the Information Technology and Computer Studies Classroom. To date they have exceeded all expectations of performance.

Production Team,
Please find attached the jumper settings for the #5HL REMOVABLE HDD CADDYx5 U320 CSE-M35S.
Of special note is the ability to turn on/off the SCSI termination and to set SCSI IDs for the GEM 318 backplane and each of the 5 HDDs. Thanks to Mike Grant for the heads up.
Cheers,
Edmond

Hi TN
I've been getting quite a lot of feedback today from students who attended your seminar last Friday afternoon.
Comments like "it was great" and "I finally understood what he was talking about" were common. Others have commented that the part on local area networks was really good. I believe that you engendered a lot of discussion too. I have also had positive feedback from Allan Halvorson and Nancy Beauregard.
TN, we really appreciate the role you are playing with our students' computing education. Your industry perspective provides valuable insights and learning for our senior students that would not otherwise be possible.
Thank you again for your valued contribution to Kamo High School.
Kind regards,
Peter Sim

As a business owner or manager, we may feel that there is too much information coming to us to read and that we do not really have the time for it. As a business director or entrepreneur, you may find that there is not enough information or that most accessible information is less than helpful. Most businesses in New Zealand are small, and the same person normally plays the roles of manager, director and in some cases the technician. Whether you will find too much or too little information depends on your major role and what your agenda is. We will offer some hints below if you have experienced an information overload. Classify information coming to your attention in 3 categories: essential, desirable and maybe. Get rid of the 4th category called junk or spam. Give your immediate attention to Essential Information such as a customer complaint, a supplier stock shortage or a sudden surge in NZD exchange rate. Arrange responding actions to maintain your corporate missions (which are not profits). If you have time, attend to Desirable Information such as a suggestion to sell your hot pies in a tin foil lined paper box with a disposable fork. Keep one or two information pieces in the "maybe" category for reading in case you have time. Keep your desktop and email IN tray clean and empty! Do not shuffle information into drawers or folders with NO plan of viewing them periodically. The above guideline is common sense but only if we practice it as a daily habit.
