Compucon G-Laser Mouse - 4SG Print
May 2007

Image

There are several buttons on this new Glaser mouse, please see the Mouse setup properties below which shows the placement of the 6 different buttons placed around the mouse. As you can see from the screenshot, buttons 2 to 6 are all configurable.

Image

Buttons 4 and 5 are typically configured as ‘Back’ and ‘Forward’ for internet browsing by default but they have been configured as the [Enter] and [Del] keys above.

The orange button is a ‘Double-click’ button that only needs to be pressed once instead of twice, to eliminate the need for “double clicking”.

The 6th button is labeled as ‘Office’ and when configured as the “Office-Button”, will launch a shortcut pad around your mouse cursor to dynamically change the programmable keys for different applications. For example, use buttons 4 and 5 for ‘Back’ and ‘Forward’ for Internet Browsing, ‘Volume up’ and ‘Volume down’ for multimedia, ‘Zoom-in’ and ‘Zoom-out’ for reading e-books, or use them as ‘Copy’ and ‘Paste’ under Windows Explorer.

Image

The ‘Office’ button can also be used as the ‘LuckyJump’ button which is a shortcut pad to most commonly used applications, illustrated above.
