Platinum DXT 1U Server is a top of the line Dual Socket Xeon computer in 1U form factor. It is based on Intel Tylersburg and Nehalem architecture that is the newest technology from Intel as at 1/4/2009. Each Xeon processor is linked to memory direct without incurring the latency of going through a Front Side Bus which is indeed a bottleneck for memory transfer and there are as many as 12 memory slots for a max of 48GB of DDR3 ECC memory. Owing to the limited space, this system provides for 4 SAS/SATA HDD and 1 PCIE x16 and 1x8 cards only. IPMI for KVM over IP is included. Add more memory, HDD, RAID and OS to complete the system configuration

This model is suitable for standard office, education and POS applications such as accounting, secretarial, clerical, checkout counters, inventory control, learning and researching etc. The system platform is based on the Intel H81 chipset and supports Intel LGA 1150 pin CPUs and DDR3-1600/1333 memory. That is, this platform supports the full spectrum of Haswell Core i3/Core i5/Corei7 CPU with integerated GPU. The system is housed in a Slim Micro ATX form factor case that can lie flat or stand up if feet are purchased. The platform is compatible with Microsoft Windows 8, 7, Vista and XP. The platform complies with thermal management, legal electromagnetic, RoHS Green IT requirements and MEPS (80 PLUS GOLD Certified PSU). Note this motherboard does not support host RAID.

This model is designed for standard office, education, and general applications such as accounting, secretarial, clerical, checkout, inventory control, learning and research etc. The AMD 760G/SB710 chipset has an integrated ATI Radeon HD 3000 GPU which provides full 1080p HD video support as well as Direct X 10.1 for gaming and multimedia applications. A 16x PCI Express 2.0 slot is also present if increased graphics performance is required with a Hybrid CrossfireX option if a compatible card is used. The system supports AMD Socket AM3+ multi-core processors based on the K10 architecture and include FX, PhenomII, AthlonII and Sempron 100 families up to 125W. This system can support up to 16GB of DDR3 memory in its two (2) DIMM sockets (with two banks providing dual-channel performance). The system is housed in a Slim Micro ATX form factor case which complies with MEPS(80 PLUS GOLD Certified PSU).
Please note that only about 3.2GB of memory will be registered and used in 32-bit versions of Windows XP/7. A 64-bit OS is required if your needs 4GB of memory or more.

This model is an ideal workstation or entry-level server that supports a single Pentium 4/Pentium D/Core 2 Duo (Conroe) CPU with 1066/800/533MHz FSB. Memory support is DDRII 667/533MHz SDRAM and SATA storage is used to keep costs down. Normally found in high-end servers, this system includes dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and 2 x USB 2.0 ports providing excellent network connectivity. This server is housed in a highly engineered 1U rack-mounted case (black front panel). Windows 95 is not supported on this platform.

Compucon is proud to announce a new version of Thin Client terminal (X1000) for business and corporate office use. This new thin client terminal does not have any moving part. It uses a very low power CPU without the need for a ventilation fan. It uses IC memory in lieu of hard disk. Its power adaptor is outside the chassis (just like a laptop). All these features collectively make sure that the failure of the hardware is reduced to the minimum. It is very small in size (213x45x203mm) and very light in weight (2.25kg)- it can be easily accommodated where space is limited. Its supported VGA display capabilities are impressive: up to 1920 x 1440 for CRT and 1600 x 1200 for LCD. It is powered by Linux (version 2.4.30). Execution of real time applications is hosted by 128MB of main memory that is considered very generous for a thin client terminal. Software is compatible with the previous version (X2200) and a wide range of server software and applications. Estimated street price is $570 + GST.
