Multi-monitors for Diamond/Diamond Plus 1150 Print

Question: How many monitors can this platform support?

The motherboard has 1 x VGA, 1 x DVI-D and 1 x HDMI port onboard. Using a compatible Ivy Brdige CPU with iGPU we are able to have multiple independent monitors by default.

Adding an NVIDIA graphics card can add further displays. For example the NVIDIA GT210 1GB GDDR3 SILENT  can provide a further 2 independent displays via its VGA/HDMI/DVI-I ports.

Example setups include:
  • One main desktop display, one secondary display and then 2 more displays which are duplicates of each other.
  • Note: Diamond/Diamond Plus are able to have up to 4 displays when a graphics card is added 
  • Note2: Supports a maximum of 2 displays using the onboard ports + a maximum of 2 displays via a graphics card - in any combination
