Will a good camera be able to capture images in dim light? |

You have to read the camera specification carefully. Look for the minimum illumination level for the camera to capture images in colour and Black/White respectively. For example, some good cameras are capable of capturing images in colour when the light intensity is as low as 7Lux and in Black/White down to 0.05Lux. One Lux is equivalent to Full Moon overhead in a tropical area in a dark night. An average hallway or toilet would have 80Lux. Some good cameras have Infrared capability and can capture images in 0Lux.
