"Sandy Bridge" (32 nm)

Intel launched the first wave of "Sandy Bridge" microarchitecture at CES 2011 in January. It will release the remaining processors based on "Sandy Bridge" throughout the rest of Q1 2011.[3][4]

  • All models support: MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology (EIST), Intel 64, XD bit (an NX bit implementation), TXT, Intel VT-x, Intel VT-d, Hyper-threading, Turbo Boost, AES-NI, Smart Cache.
  • Xeon E3-1220, Xeon E3-1225 do not support Hyper-threading.
