This article provides the basic info on the range of Big Data 1U
systems that we offer as of May 2013. It
is not the equivalence of technical specification as it informs us of the big
picture only. The info is correct at the
date of issue and may not match the models that are on the pricelists at a
later date.
S1UD12SX
This new single processor 1U
model (as of May 2013) is designed for Large Data Analytics Applications and holds
up to 12x 3.5" Fixed SAS or SATA drives while having a 650W AC-DC High
Efficiency Power Supply at the rear. The front end allows 1x low profile PCI
expansion slot.
This chassis supports a single E3-1200 series processor along with up
to 32GB RAM; it is useful for Indexing, Searching, Grouping, Decoding/
Decompressing, and Data Importing/Exporting.

This new dual processor 1U model
(as of May 2013) is designed for High Performance & Large Data Analytics
Applications and holds up to 12x 3.5" SAS or SATA drive
while having a 650W AC-DC High Efficiency Power Supply at the rear. The front end
allows 1x Half-Height PCI expansion slot.
This chassis supports dual E5-2600 series processors along with up to
512GB RAM; it is useful for Machine Learning, Complex Text
Mining, Natural Language Processing, and Feature Extraction.
